3D Technology Checklist This product is 3D-related. To help you get a great 3D experience, use our checklist below to ensure that you have everything you need. If you have any questions or want to learn more about 3D, we invite you to visit 3D 101--our center for everything 3D. To get started with 3D, please ensure that you have: A Display The first--and most important--item you'll need is a 3D-ready display--whether it be a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays usually have a higher processing power than older models as they need to display one image for each eye to create a 3D effect. A Source While your display is ready for 3D playback, you still need a device to read 3D content (i.e., a movie or a show). This source can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3. Content In order to watch 3D, you will need to get some 3D content. This 3D content will come from the source mentioned above in the form of a 3D program, movie, or game. Please ensure that your 3D movies are in the Blu-ray 3D format, as this new format will provide the best 3D experience. 3D Glasses All 3D HDTVs on the market require Active Shutter glasses to create the 3D effect. You will need to buy one pair of glasses for each viewer. Also make sure that the Active Shutter glasses you buy are compatible with your display--for example, buy the glasses from the same brand as your 3D HDTV. HDMI Cable To connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a hgh-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation--with bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second)--will be able to carry the 3D signal without any loss of quality. If you want to get more information about 3D, shop our 3D products, watch videos, or interact with other customers, visit 3D 101, our customer center about everything 3D.

Kapadia BD player is now not only listen to playback BD and DVD, but also music CDs and used the contents of the Internet. Let me go through the aspects of this beautiful first player: BD * Fast / load times CD - Disc load almost instantly * Nice picture quality. . 1080p upscaling works very well (at least when viewed on a 46 "TV Samsung LED) * observed total gratifying BD / DVD Here are the areas for improvement: The keys * on the remote control that could be improved, the keys are not good. or BD player does not respond quickly enough -.. shipping, return and the directional keys is just not funny * If your goal is to display online content that Samsung totally go very few applications that are mentioned on their website actually available. For Sony site (I'm back this drive and a Sony). The user interface is bad. The new Apple TV is the best compared to the interface (and third-party applications that Sony BD player to fill the void) * The player is DLNA support - but the Samsung implementation is full of errors. Besides the missing features like mixing songs, forward or backward in the video and it makes it virtually useless. * Not recommended for everyone to play music on a hi-fi system - you'll notice the sound made when the disk rotates. In total, Samsung has done a bad job with their BD player. Its TV is great, but it should go a long way to catch up on the BD player quality. UPDATE October 26, 2010 I exchanged the Sony BD-p570 game a few weeks. Sony players also have problems with DLNA. Netflix also freezes at the Sony and some other features not to work despite the firmware upgrade. I can not recommend either Sony and I am still working on finding a BD player with networking capabilities, and in advertising. If you know of one please let me know UPDATE December 23, 2010 After trying several other players, I finally returned to the BDP-S570 Sony 3D Blu-ray Disc, when the price on Amazon has dropped to $ 138 for a few days ago. With the latest firmware (several newer versions than I had previously tried, the wireless setup Netflix and freezing problems have been solved. Moreover, this is the only player who plays 1080/60p, 28fps files from my Panasonic camcorder without problems. I bumping my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. If you do not want the hassle of trying different players and return them as I did, go for the Sony BDP-S570 Blu-ray Disc 3D. It is not perfect, but better other players market. 18 of 18 people found this review helpful. What do you need a Blu-Ray? Charles Evans With The Samung C5900 makes a great option for a certain type of person ... a person who already has a Samsung 3D TV . If not you - it might be a good Blu-ray for you, but may be better options, but if you own a Samsung 3D TV, Samsung 55-inch 1080p 240 Hz UN55C7000 3D LED HDTV (black) or UN55C8000 Samsung 1080p 55-inch 3D HDTV 240 Hz LED Samsung C5900 he is an excellent choice. Why? most of the features that people complain about the C5900 is not already built into your TV. However, the Samsung C5900 an affordable option to get 3D Blu-Ray to your TV. A few notes - Remember - you need high speed HDMI cables if you want to play 3D Blu-Ray - consider AmazonBasics High Speed HDMI Cable (6.5 meters Feet/2.0) [Supports 3D + Audio Return Channel], which is much cheaper than any of the cables are in the box stores. - Good image quality on Blu-ray video (as expected) - Have a great upconverting DVDs to near HD quality - Super Fast charging - HDMI and optical audio output (in addition to more conventional outlets .. but you do would not not use a Blu-ray would do ... now.
